How a ticketing platform lets millions pick exact seats from a live map without ever selling one twice: one writer per show holding all the seats or none, holds that are states with their expiry on the seat, partner seats held by asking with our hold id, and a waiting-room front door that keeps 13 million people waiting cheaply and fairly.
